French Hill, marking its significance not only in my personal journey but also in the broader artistic landscape. ——This piece is all about longing to return to Venezuela as I have only gone when I was little as it is too dangerous to visit my family now due to government corruption & anti USA agenda. Also seeing an artist’s work @cruizberman at @kempermuseum influenced my composition. I remember wanting to have a mixture of more abstract and realistic figures in my work then I see his. Then one day I was in Mr. Deloney’s class and overcome with emotion, I doodled the composition. This piece was done in about a month during march 2023 to April 2023. I remember partly painting this piece in the woods at wildwood park on a sunny day. Materials are just acrylic paint on illustration board.

apart of my Fine Art Nature Portfolio: "Connect with Your Higher Self and The Divine Through Nature"(2022-2023)

Created during my senior year of high school, this collection is a meditation on ancestry, spirituality, and femininity.
